Portable Hose Reel
For Plug-In Underfloor System
A portable hose reel (see below) has been designed for Toyota in an R&D facility. The R&D shop had existing floor outlets that required longer hose drops. Storing extended hose drops was an issue, so the solution was to provide a portable hose drop that could move from station to station.
The spring operated hose reel provides a convenient way to store the hose when it is not in use. Monoxivent's CF-570 high temperature hose was utilized due to its' temperature capabilities as well as external wear strip. Since hose would regularly come in contact with the shop floor the external wear strip provides excellent abrasion resistance. A 5' long "tail" was provided to allow technicians easy access to plug the hose into existing floor outlets.
